As a psychotherapist and life coach, Hope is devoted to helping her clients overcome their issues, problems, and old life patterns enabling them to move to a place of health and personal/relational/spiritual fulfillment. Her goal is for you to reach your potential and become the person that you want to be.
She graduated from the University of Texas School of Social Work in 1968. In her 40 years of professional experience, she has worked extensively with individuals, couples, groups, and families as a psychotherapist, coach, educator, consultant, lecturer, and workshop facilitator. She has been a Field Instructor for the University of Houston graduate School of Social Work, and is a certified supervisor for clinicians attaining their LMFT,LPC, and SW licenses.
She is a graduate of the MentorCoach Training Program for Mental Health Professionals. She teaches the popular classes “How To Encourage Someone To Fall In Love With You” and “101 Way To Meet Friends and Find Lovers” through Leisure Learning Unlimited of Houston. Hope approaches her work pragmatically. She selects and/or blends treatment options that are most effective in meeting clients’ particular personalities, needs, and goals. Treatment modalities include EMDR, hypnosis, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems, eidetics, voice dialogue, and transpersonal. When appropriate, psycho-educational tools are incorporated, including books and handouts. As part of individualized care, Hope often creates hypnotic CD’s for clients’ home use.
